Ginger: Work and Exercise

I'm trying to figure out when to exercise. It fell off the radar several weeks ago. Now, with my new ramped-up work schedule, I no longer have the luxury of fitting it in "whenever" it's convenient. What do you guys think -early morning or after work? I like easing into the morning but I also like having a few hours to unwind after work. Choices, choices.

The balance is always tricky. I find that the mornings are "safest" but sometimes you just don't feel like getting up.

So, I like planning when I'm going to exercise at the start at the week and then letting the day dictate - meetings, tiredness, classes offered.

For example I planned to go to spinning in the morning but felt tired so went to the evening class.

The deal I have with myself is that make a exercise plan (avoiding the too much thinking) but I can switch the time once I get it done that day.

There are some pitfalls - I've found myself at 10 pm on a efx pissed that i'm there, LOL.

I'm facing that same problem myself! 'cept I can't really "ease" in to my morning. When my alarm goes off, the morning is there and has to be dealt with! So the default is evening after work. However, if exercising in the morning doesn't require waking up at an ungodly hour or rushing to work, I say go for it! It'll jump start your day and give some extra energy. If that's not possible, I say hit the gym right after work with a quick snack as your partner! I find that if I get home or I eat supper first, the workout is much less likely to happen.
