Spice: Hello everyone!

Hi , I am Spice, sister of Posh. If I had known she was making all these sarcastic remarks on this blog I would have joined a lot sooner. (lol) Despite any disparaging remarks I am quite proud of Posh and the rest of you because you stuck with the program for 8 weeks and I know there were many times when you would have liked to have thrown in the towel. Congratulations everyone!

I am joining the WOW3 challenge to be supportive and in the process improve my own health. It would be nice to loose 10lbs. However despite past efforts I have never made it intentionally. I lost about 7lbs due to diet change (not deliberate). By participating in the challenge I commit to improving my health and the development of muscle.

I wish us the best success in meeting our goals in the WOW3 Challenge.

HEY SPICE!
What's up? Good to see you on here. Look forward to hearing more about your intentional weight loss journey...

p.s. What diet changes prompted the 7lb loss?

I lost some when I switched to a vegetarian diet and again when I tried a vegan diet. That was a while ago though...I've been on/off those wagons many times since (just resurrected a pseudo vegan diet -no milk or cheese- to see what happens).

So yeah, please share...I'm looking for small changes that are sustainable. I'm realizing that the weight loss thing is won or lost through the endless series of (seemingly) small choices that we make.

p.s.s.
I think it's so great that you're going all out to support Posh. I'm sure it makes a big difference :-)

Hi Ginger,

Since I made my transition back to the islands, my diet became high in vegetables (vegetables at all 3 meals),very low in veggie meats, fries, cream cheeses etc., low in sodas and juices (drank mainly water)and snacked a lot less.

I feel that I have put back on some of those pounds because I had an increased intake of those foods I was excluding.

This challenge should help monitor what I am doing to contribute or take away from my overall goals.

I support you 100% on that Vegan thing. I think it really makes a difference for several reasons. I think Posh may have shared what we learned from Walter Veith's work with the excessive use of antibiotics etc. I also find that I feel better when my dairy intake is low. I'm tring to keep dairy to a minimum myself.

Well I say don't worry about falling off the wagon. The time that you are on I'm sure is making a difference and is better than not doing anything at all. :) Good Job!
